We have improved the program this year with the help of all of your feedback (parents and coaches!) to make it the most complete youth soccer program in the whole of the USA, with a recreational grassroots approach, very much like AYSO and your local recreational soccer leagues (i.e. Glendora Youth Soccer / Parks and Recreation), but with professional coaching and instruction at recreational prices! We don’t believe that anybody should have to pay exorbitant prices for your child to be in a developmentally fun, challenging, competitive and most importantly, safe environment! Whether you are looking for the next step for your child after an AYSO / GYS / City Rec Soccer program, or your child has aspirations to play High School or Collegiate Soccer, make sure you give them the best advantage and opportunity by having them play in the Academy.
The Academy and it’s TOTAL PLAYER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM provides and exceptionally safe, clean and fun environment at our exceptional soccer facility. Through our life skills program we provide an environment whereby our players will be challenged to implement the actual skill development and life skills program through a specifically designed curriculum into a competitive game environment.

EQUALITY - Our program is open to all children between the ages of 6-15 without exception. The only requirement is a sincere desire to work hard and improve your skills in the game of soccer !
PARTICIPATION - It is our obligation to each player that they are provided and equal amount of playing time on the field during game play and that they are given quality instruction through clinical settings to learn the fundamental skills of soccer - This gives each player an opportunity to work on the skills that they learn in a competitive environment. We promise that each player will play a bare minimum of half the game EVERY GAME - guaranteed!
PROFESSIONAL COACHING - Unique to any Recreational Program in the United States, our program is founded on the principle that it provides the highest level of qualified coaching instruction possible - which in turn creates a productive, motivating and very positive atmosphere. That also means that your child gets professional coaching for the price of a recreation program!
GOOD SPORTING-LIKE CONDUCT - The Academy believes in developing life skills that will assist our players not only on the soccer field but in every area of their lives. We believe that we have a responsibility to teach the values of integrity and character through the program so that our players will know and understand the importance behind moral and ethical conduct towards coaches, fellow teammates and opposing players.

Team Sign-ups will be accepted and given heavy consideration for the grouping of players, however, like AYSO - WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL PLACED EXACTLY ON THE TEAM YOU SIGN UP WITH ! Please respect the virtues of the league mission, which is to be fair and create an environment which develops each player’s individual technical ability and gives each player a tactical understanding of the game in a competitve and wherever possible, equally matched environment.

AGE GROUPS?
We have FOUR age groups: U8 Boys & Girls - U10 Boys & Girls - U12 Boys & Girls and U16 COED.
AGE GROUPS ARE DETERMINED BY HOW OLD YOUR CHILD WAS ON JULY 31ST 2006 - REMEMBER - JULY 31ST 2006!!!
So, if your son or daughter was aged 7 on July 31st, 2006 they would play in the U8 Age Group - if they were aged 8 years of age on July 31st they would play in the U10 Age Group! It is how old your son or daughter was on July 31st, 2006 - July 31st is the Cut Off Date!!! The same goes for all age groups!!!

U8 Boys - U8 Girls -- U10 Boys - U10 Girls --- U12 Boys - U12 Girls --- U16 Coed (U13 & U14 & U15 players may also play!) - AYSO age groups apply - If you played a particular age group in Fall 2006 then that same age group will apply !!

How are teams picked?
Teams are picked randomly! The beauty of the Academy is that the league is completely recreational in nature and that our core desire is to see each player improve their skills in a positive coaching environment. If it is obvious that a team has gotten too many high-skilled players then we will adjust that team to make it equal.
As time goes on we will rate players and as your son / daughter continues through our programs we will have rated them so that we can determine equality between teams!!!
CAR POOL ISSUES - If you absolutely need to be on a team with somebody else for car pool reasons to get to and from clinics and games then let us know!!!
PLAYING UP AN AGE GROUP - NO PLAYER IN THE ACADEMY WILL PLAY UP AN AGE GROUP, NO MATTER HOW MUCH BETTER THEIR MUM OR DAD THINKS THEY ARE - WE ARE HERE TO HAVE FUN!!!
LEAGUE MINIMUMS
The Academy reserves the right NOT to have a certain age group if a league minimum amount of players has not been met!
The league minimums are established to ensure healthy competition and equality.
The league minimums for age groups in 2007 are as follows:
U8 & U10 Age Groups - 40 players minimum!
U12 & U16 Age Groups - 36 players minimum!
Minimum 10-12 players on a roster - Maximum 16 players on a roster!!!!!
